Hundreds of Pakistani women in the Pakistani city of Rawalpindi protested against the killings in Syria and the military coup in Egypt.

Pakistani women carrying Morsi posters chanted anti-coup slogans. They also protested against the chemical weapons attack staged on August 21 by the Syrian regime which claimed more than 1,300 lives.

A large group of women and children called on authorities to put an end to the crisis in Egypt and Syria.

Egypt's first democratically elected President Mohamed Morsi was ousted in a July 3 military coup.

Meanwhile, since the Syrian conflict began in March 2011, at least 100,000 people have been killed with more than 1.7 million others fleeing the war in Syria, according to the latest figures from the United Nations.
