'Salt saves from 70 diseases'
Assalamualaykum
May Allah keep us on the true path of Islam. Aameen.
Someone told me a hadeeth that
"Starting meal(Lunch, Dinner, Breakfast) with salt saves from 70 diseases."
May Allah reward you for the same,And the Reward depends upon your intention.

'Nobody should touch the Quran except a pure person'
Assalamu Alikum, is the hadith saheeh that Prophet Muhammad SAWS sent a letter saying that nobody should touch the Quran except that he is taahir recorded by Imam Malik, Abu Dawud and Ad-Darami. Imam Al-Qurtubi in his tafsee of surah al-waqiah aya 79 says that Abdullah Ibn Umar said that the Prophet SAWS said do not touch the Quran unless you are taahir".. More

The narration 'Have your lower garment halfway down your shin'
Assalam o alaikum,
Can you please let me know the reference for following ahadith which you have quoted and other similar hadiths ..with reference no. eg : book no and Hadith nos please ..
Have your lower garment halfway down your shin; if you cannot do it, have it up to the ankles. Beware of trailing the lower garment, for it is conceit."

Allaah does not accept the repentance of an innovator until...
Assalamu Alikum, I am writing an article on bid"ah and wanted to know if this hadith is saheeh or not but I need to know in a few days please. The hadith is that the Prophet SAWS said: “Allah does not accept the repentance of an innovator until he abandons his innovation” (Narrated by At-Tabaraani & Bayhaqi). Modern science does not contradict the Hadeeth

A woman staying at home for 40 days after giving birth
Salam alaikum. My wife and myself are expecting our first child in few month. My wife is of turkish background and we were told that after birth my wife and the child have to stay at home for 40 days. Is this based on Islam or is it culture? We couldn't find Hadith relating to the subject. if it's correct could you please give us the reason for staying.. More
